Who wouldn't be excited when you're going on a trip to the famous Boracay!?
Round 2
It was late November 2010 when we decided to go back to Boracay for our 2nd trip because our first trip was not good and very dissappointing. Right after getting off from work, we went to NAIA Terminal 3 for our flight bound to Kalibo. Our schedule was 0820H flight 252 via ZestAir. Few minutes before the plane reach Kalibo Airport, the rain fell so hard that we had a poor visibility during landing. We took a van from Kalibo to Caticlan for like 1 1/2 hours. When we reached caticlan, there was this crowd being surrounded by people wearing thier uniforms representing the resort/hotel they work for. A mid-aged woman approached us asking if we already have a place to stay, we were hesitant at first because we don't have an idea how much the price range of the place they offer would be. I asked her how much, she mentioned a range from Php1,000 - Php1,800. We ended up being accompanied by her, going to "Jerome's Resort" a.k.a. Jerome's Bungalow.
This place is few meters away from "D Mall". At first, the attendant was offering us Php 1,500/night but we didn't bite the offer having in mind that we can still look for cheaper place to stay. But as we checked out other places, we were offered a higher price for a room near the beach and a room on the 3rd floor far from the beach for a thousand pesos. Finally, the attendant in Jerome's Resort agreed with our bargain for 2 rooms for Php1,300 each.
We were the first to arrive because my wife's college friends had a later flight schedules. We did not reserve for a hotel to stay for our trip. We chose to look for a place to stay when we get there, we also think that we can get a cheaper deal for a place to stay compared to booking it online. Since we have plenty of time to spend, we took some rest while waiting for them. On our first night, we made sure that this second trip will be one of the greatest. We spent the whole night walking while checking-out some bars and resto along the beach front.
We stayed for 3D2N in Boracay on our 2nd Trip and we made sure that it's one of the BEST!
Oh! Did I mention that I was the only guy on our trip!?
